Complete restoration of the building envelope and its singular interior spaces, including the creation of molds (on-site and in the workshop) for facade elements, including urns, balusters, banisters, cornices and stringcourses and the interior plaster ornaments. Completion of more than 1,300 feet of perimeter moldings around the ceilings in all rooms, decorations and stone surrounds of the main access door, lobby ceilings and reproduction of the old frieze at the stairwell. Carrara marble stonework was also completed in these spaces. Restoration of the facade involved hydrophobic treatments and Pliolite coatings on the stucco and faux stone walls, and restoration of the window woodwork, shutters, cast iron balustrades, etc. A complete replica of the three bay windows, unrecoverable due to their high degree of deterioration, was carried out; as well as other work in the inner courtyards. The roofs were finished with wood decking, gravel or pavers and new ANTHRA-ZINC copings were installed on the sixth floor rooftop addition.
