Restoration of the choir stalls of the Cathedral, built by the master sculptor Rodrigo Alemán, and built during the Fifteenth and Sixteenth Centuries. The Flamboyant gothic choir, carved in walnut wood, presents an extraordinarily decorative exuberance in its carvings and intarsia inlays, and numerous reliefs of a great iconographic richness. The choir pieces were disassembled for laser cleaning and to apply protective varnishes. Work was also performed on the King and Queen’s spires and the Bishop’s seat. For this work, we installed a workshop on-site and completed a photographic report of the whole process.
