Historic City of Toledo (Recognition as UNESCO World Heritage Site, 1986)

Noteworthy among the repairs carried out, is the structural stabilization of the Fifteenth Century rib vault. Special pieces were designed to structurally solidify each of the ribs with the stone webbing, connected with bracing to distribute the loads. The Sixteenth Century mural paintings were cleaned, consolidated, stucco coated and color-matched, and the Islamic polilobulated arches were also restored by cleaning, repointing and replacement of ceramic pieces and bricks where required.
