Helder Neto Institute, Namibe, Angola

Comprehensive rehabilitation of the Helder Neto Institute complex in Namibe for the Angola Ministry of Fisheries. The main building was completely renovated: underpinning with micropiles, restoration of its facades, reconfiguration of the interior spaces and adaptation of the installations. The laboratory buildings and workshops were demolished and replaced with new, larger buildings, that house the cafeteria, classrooms and workshops. Finally, the complex was provided with all necessary equipment (simulators, chemistry and physics laboratories, machinery rooms, etc.) and swimming pool for surface water rescue training was installed, adapting the exterior spaces to the new layouts.
