Structural intervention in this 18th century building located on Calle de la Magdalena, at one end of Madrid’s Plaza de Tirso de Molina. The work consisted of replacing the traditional wooden structure of the courtyard and the roof with wooden prosthesis and specific metal reinforcements. On the roof, the ceramic tile was renewed, where it was possible to reuse the roof coverings. New lime mortar coatings were applied to the facades to unify and renovate them. In a second phase of the work, a fixed service platform was installed to adapt the building to house the new exterior air conditioning units.
