National Archaeological Museum, Madrid, Spain


Emergency interventions were conducted on the facade of the National Archaeological Museum, located at 13 Serrano Street, Madrid. Structural stitching with fiberglass rods and epoxy resins, crack filling and consolidation of deteriorated elements, were done under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and the Spanish Cultural Heritage Institute (IPCE). Also, we conducted interventions in the Courtyard of the Virgin and in the Great Courtyard, which included cleaning and restoring stonework and traditional stucco, as well as the marble and decorative limestone elements at the Monumental Stairs.
