Old Town of Segovia and its Aqueduct, Spain

Old Town of Segovia and its Aqueduct, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1985

The historic centre of Segovia is a symbol of the complex history of the city.  During the medieval period, Moors, Jews and Christians coexisted in the city, each culture leaving its hallmark in the architecture of the area. In the historic conglomerate, the magnificently well-preserved Roman Aqueduct stands out, as well as the Alcázar, a construction dating from the eleventh century, in which Kalam has worked on several occasions to consolidate and restore its facades and fortifications, among other projects.
