Aranjuez Palace – Casa de Oficios, Aranjuez, Spain

Aranjuez Cultural Landscape (Recognition as UNESCO World Heritage Site, 2001)

Interventions were carried out in different areas of the Royal Palace of Aranjuez for National Heritage, in the auxiliary dependence called House of Crafts, where pavements were replaced and terraces were waterproofed and repaved with ceramic tile. The arcades, made of Colmenar limestone and artisanal brickwork, were restored by cleaning, repointing and replacing units where required, and all ironwork was also recovered. Restoration was performed on the flooring in the halls of the Museum of Humankind, inside the Palace, as well as interventions in various areas of the Palace gardens, including the Royal Pavilions of the Dock and in the fountain siphons, with consolidation and recovery repairs of the brick masonry.
