The Palace of Zurbano located on the street which bears its name, is the place of birth of the Queen of Belgium, Fabiola of Mora y Aragón, and it is currently owned by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport. Restoration work has focused on the facades. Cornices, water tables, window surrounds and lintels have been recovered with restoration mortars and the cornice was covered with a zinc coping. The facebrick was restored through the repointing and later application of a water repellent coating. For the window repairs, we installed an on-site workshop where the louver shutters and metalwork were restored.
