Reporting to the Head of Estimating, the main purpose of the role is to prepare cost estimates and budgets in line with the company’s policies and objectives, ensuring the quality of project delivery. Candidates with experience in the preparation and submission of public sector tenders will be highly valued.
We work on projects with a high level of technical and construction complexity, where rigour in the estimating phase is key to ensuring successful project delivery.
What will your role involve?
Be responsible for the technical and commercial analysis of refurbishment and restoration projects, preparing rigorous, viable and competitive proposals.
What would your responsibilities be?
- Technical review of refurbishment and restoration projects.
- Analysis of quantities and preparation of cost estimates.
- Comparison of bids from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Preliminary planning of timelines and logistics.
- Coordination with site teams and technical departments.
Preferred requirements
- Technical education: preferably a degree in Building Engineering, Architecture or similar.
- At least 2 years of experience in the above-mentioned functions.
- Proficiency in Presto, AutoCAD, Excel and Microsoft Project.
- Experience in refurbishment and restoration is desirable.
- Previous experience in the preparation and submission of public sector tenders will be highly valued.
