Committed to Quality and Excellence

Since 1987 we have made quality and safety our key values, putting together a growing team of professionals covering every area of rehabilitation and restoration. This allows us to guarantee the excellence and rigor to which we are committed in each project.

Professionals committed to restoring and rehabilitating buildings.

We approach every job in a holistic way, adding value with our highly qualified workforce. Our references and accolades are unique in the sector and are appreciated internationally. We put the knowledge and experience acquired over more than 35 years into assuring quality and successful outcomes in the projects we perform.

A walk through heritage

In the KALAM presentation video, we showcase a selection of significant interventions from our trajectory. Notable works include projects in World Heritage buildings, such as the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Casa del Labrador at the Royal Palace of Aranjuez, or those carried out at the Seville Cathedral, along with a sample of our international experience.

Clients

We work with public and private clients that value the accreditations and quality marks which qualify our firm to perform conservation projects on unique heritage assets. We have a track record that is widely appreciated as a result of our having undertaken work for prestigious clients in the insurance, institutional, and heritage sectors, as well as for housing associations that rely on word of mouth for their renovation projects.

Our staff engage with each project, putting their experience at the service of a successful outcome.

Training

KALAM’s Craft Trade School – EOAK – is geared to in-house practitioners and their professional growth through a continuous training and skills upgrade program and to external pupils through agreements entered into with universities and restoration and trade schools.

Through EOAK we also organize talks and workshops aimed at postgraduates, fine arts graduates, restorers, and architects on heritage restoration practice and historic building refurbishment. With this initiative we seek to preserve traditional trades and techniques, a key aspect in the proper conservation of historic buildings.
