Masonry Specialist for Facade Restoration – Madrid | Full-time

At KALAM we are looking to recruit a masonry specialist in facade restoration for our projects in Madrid.
We specialise in comprehensive building rehabilitation and architectural heritage restoration, with extensive experience in interventions on historic facades and traditional construction elements.
What will your mission be?
The selected candidate will take part in facade rehabilitation works in Madrid, carrying out tasks such as:
- Execution of traditional lime mortar renders.
- Restoration and reinstatement of volumes in cornices and decorative elements.
- Stitching and sealing of cracks in existing buildings.
- Repointing and repair of brick masonry.
- Repair and consolidation of deteriorated facade elements.
The work will be carried out under the supervision of the Site Supervisor, following the quality and safety standards typical of building rehabilitation and restoration works.
Required profile
- Proven experience of 2 years in masonry, preferably in facade rehabilitation.
- Commitment to quality of execution and on-site safety.
- Full proficiency in Spanish.
The following will be valued:
- Specific training in masonry, mortars, renders or traditional trades.
- Training in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) in construction.
- Experience in the rehabilitation of historic buildings.
