Alfonso XIII Hotel, Sevilla, Spain
Restoration of this iconic Sevillian hotel listed as Andalusian architectural heritage. The work involved specialist tasks by our staff to restore characteristic ornamental features, including treatments on ornate corbels or Mudéjar ceilings of wooden coffers and glazed ceramic tiles, along with protection against biological attack and final cleaning and pointing. We also cleaned, sealed, and restored missing portions in plasterwork friezes as well as in the eaves, which were sealed with hydraulic lime mortar, and finally beams were restored with decorative wooden moldings.
