• Restauración de Fachadas Ornamentadas Banco de España Sevilla 01

Bank of Spain, Sevilla, Spain

Among other work over the years for the Bank of Spain at its offices in Madrid, Zaragoza, or Santander, we restored facades and renewed lighting at the Bank’s center in Seville, built in the early 20th century to a design by the architect Antonio Illanes del Río. The work centered on dry cleaning of the ashlar masonry facade and a surface biocide treatment together with consolidation and recovery of stone volumes by structural stitching. This was followed by water-repellent and anti-graffiti surface treatments along with manual cleaning and restoration of bronze decorative elements and installation of new ornamental lighting.
