We were asked by the owners to perform a holistic rehabilitation of this apartment building erected in 1891. The work included restoration of the main facades with replacement and cleaning of ornamental features and wooden joinery, facade openings, shutters and louvers, etc.; restoration of courtyards, improving energy efficiency by means of fitting an exterior thermal insulation system (ETIS); partial structural renovation with replacement of damaged rafters, beams, battens, and pillars; rehabilitation of roof elements; full refitting of common areas; refurbishment of all apartments, and overhaul of the house’s facilities.
