After the works carried out in the main building of its headquarters, Catalana Occidente entrusted our team with this new intervention. The fair-faced concrete facades showed pathologies in the prefabricated elements due to corrosion of the reinforcements. The work consisted of cleaning the facings, treating the deteriorated areas, cleaning and passivating the reinforcements or replacing them, recovering the volumes with high-strength, low-shrinkage thixotropic mortars, renewing the sealing between elements and waterproofing and toning the whole with mineral glazing techniques. In addition, other exterior conservation and improvement interventions have been carried out, such as the installation of lacquered aluminum profiles with dripping and the restoration, protection and painting of metal doors and railings.
