Cathedral of Cadiz, Spain

Complete restoration of the lower sacristy, for the Culture Ministry. The tasks included cleaning, salt extraction, and replacement of missing portions, with extensive stonemasonry work using lime mortars, from the dome lantern to all of the walls and floors. The masonry was then restored and sealed for water-repellency in the interior, given the city’s highly saline condensation humidity. The chapel roof was also sealed against rainwater seepage. Once the work was completed, through EKABA we published a book on the cathedral, designed by the architect Vicente Acero in 1722.
