Concha Espina 7-37, Madrid, Spain

Intervention based on an unfavorable report of the Technical Inspection of Buildings (ITE) for the Association of Homeowners’ Communities of Avenida de Concha Espina, 7-37, consisting of three blocks of varying heights, between three and five floors, built in the 1950s. The rehabilitation work focused on the poor condition of the roofs and cracks in the current façade cladding. Underneath the current cladding, remnants of the original cladding were found with an advanced degree of disintegration and residual moisture, which caused the specific problems on the façade. On the roof, we intervened in the recovery and restoration of the elements of the structure in poor condition, the tiling and the renovation of the eaves and gutters, taking advantage of the action to incorporate an approved lifeline and the painting of locks.
