Dear Hotel, Madrid, Spain

Complete restoration of the plaster and brick facades of this magnificent building at the intersection of Gran Vía and Plaza de España in Madrid, for use as a hotel. All the brickwork was pointed and damaged pieces were selectively replaced, followed by water-repellent sealing. The roofing of the dome was renewed and the crowning zinc pinnacle and iron belfry were restored. Worth noting is the involvement of our craftspeople and architectural reproduction workshop in the restoration of ornaments (pinnacles, vases, and balusters), with cast replicas and restoration mortars.
