This narrow and elongated building in the center of Madrid is located between Calle de las Huertas and Plaza de Santa Ana. Its community of owners commissioned KALAM to carry out the structural consolidation works and specific restorations of the facades, patios and roofs of the building. Structurally, in its framing walls and floor slabs, straight legs, runs and joists in a bad state of preservation are replaced. We proceeded to dismantle part of the roof for its subsequent reconstruction with a tile roof with new thermal insulation and waterproofing. We restored its exterior and interior facades, with a reconfiguration of all the installations that run through them. Finally, we adapted the storage rooms by finishing off the walls and changing the carpentry.
