María Pita Palace, A Coruña, Spain
The City Council of A Coruña awarded us through a tender, the restoration works of the facades of its headquarters, wanting to ensure the integrity of a palace with a hundred years of history, symbolic and architectural value. This building, crowned by three domes and in an eclectic style, has been the town hall since 1917 and takes its name from the Galician heroine who defended A Coruña from the English troops in 1589. The work consisted of cleaning the facades, applying plaster with lime mortar, restoring cornices, roofs, balconies, carpentry, metal and ceramic materials of this imposing monument, as well as treatment of various pathologies, consolidation and waterproofing.
