Miraflores Palace, Madrid, Spain

In the well-known Miraflores Palace, built by Pedro de Ribera in 1732, and of which only part of the original building remains, we restored the main brick facade, with a pyramidal Baroque portal and a profusion of quarried stone ornamentation and a historic coat of arms, as well as a rear facade of the same materials. These were consolidated by means of stitching with epoxy resin and cleaned. Missing portions of balcony stonework and ironwork were also replaced. Zinc flashing was fitted and the skylight restored. This building was declared a monumental cultural heritage asset 1976.
