We worked on this iconic school building designated as a cultural heritage asset over various phases, according to the school’s functional needs. The project involved cleaning suited to each substrate, restoration of plaster surfaces with lime mortar and natural pigments with high UV resistance as well as of stone wall surfaces and other stonework with special restoration mortars, and renovation of belt courses and cornices with fiberglass bars. We also restored singular decorative elements such as pinnacles, balustrades, entrance ornamentation, and the church interior, and protected the buildings with zinc, water-repellent sealing, and patination with mineral-based hues.
