Ocaso Insurance, Madrid, Spain
On this 1907 residential building converted to office use owned by Ocaso Group and located at Paseo de la Castellana 21, KALAM restored the main, rear, and courtyard facades. Bay windows were structurally reinforced, coatings were restored, and the original bush-hammered plaster was reproduced. Cornices, belt courses, balcony fronts, balustrades, and decorative plaster and artificial stone features were repaired. Finally we installed new louvered shutters to harmonize the facade openings and repaired the metalwork in the bay windows and balconies.
