Paseo de la Castellana 138, Madrid, Spain
The community of owners of 138 Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid, next to the north end of the Bernabeu stadium, asked us to undertake a complete cleaning and restoration of the external façade. We began by restoring the stone base on the first floor and the exposed brickwork on the rest of the building. This included the replacement of deteriorated parts, the renovation of the joints, the decoration and plastering of the terraces, and the sandstone veneer of the forged edges and window jambs. Finally, the roof areas were restored with the installation of new flashings, replacement of the ridge with curved tiles, zinc finishes and occasional re-roofing.
