Restoration of the main facades of this building in the historic center of Madrid, with features characteristic of the Classicism prevailing when it was built. Our work focused on the upper cornice, whose deterioration posed a risk to passers-by and on which KALAM’s specialist staff reconstructed the original forms with the manufacture of casts and running molds. All balcony-window framing trim and belt courses were also restored. Finally we renovated the facades’ lime render, reconstructed the parapet balustrade, and restored railings and wooden joinery.
