We intervened in this protected building designed by architect Manuel Cortina to carry out structural consolidation and restoration works in its main facade, courtyards, carriage passage and roofs. The building is characterized by a rich ornamentation present both in its main facade and in its interiors, with decorative plaster ceilings and nolla floors in many rooms. In a first stage, Kalam’s specialized team carried out the delicate restoration works of its facades, which include many elements of Cortina’s architectural language such as dragons, his coat of arms, four-lobed crosses, cast iron columns or ashlars, among others, adapting the processes to the type of surface and its state of preservation.
