Parish that belonged to the convent of the Carmelitas Calzados erected in the seventeenth century by the architect Miguel de Soria. KALAM was commissioned to carry out successive phases of intervention in the main transept, sacristy and antero-christy, as well as in the parochial dependencies. The foundation problems of secular origin, aggravated by the constructions of the last years in the surroundings, caused serious pathologies in walls and plements. The sealing and stitching of cracks is being carried out, with the recovery of the original mural painting, as well as the reintegration of gilding and polychrome coats of arms. The restoration of carpentry, the artistic lighting of the transept, the cleaning of the altarpieces and the installation of large format easel paintings have been carried out. During the planned work on the flooring, the original one appeared, which has been recovered and restored. It presents pieces of marble in ochre, white and reddish porphyry, with different shapes, triangular forming rhombuses and squares and a design in its central part that imitates the outline of the lantern of the dome.
