Generali Seguros has once again placed its trust in KALAM for this ongoing intervention in one of its centrally located properties on the emblematic Paseo de Gracia. The scope covers more than 14,000 m2 of its imposing exterior facade, rear and courtyards. The cleaning and restoration of its surfaces is carried out, adapting to the different materials, such as Montjuic stone or pink-porriño granite, and their state of conservation, after testing by our specialized team. Compatible restoration materials are used in deteriorated areas and even occasional replacements of the natural stone cladding equal to the existing one in the missing or non-recoverable pieces. The restoration of ornamental elements such as allegorical sculptures and pinnacles, balustrades and handrails, cornice, moldings, reliefs and bas-reliefs and artistic metalwork, brass carpentry or the semicircular arched doors in the main and side entrances, among others, are also highlighted.
