Comprehensive renovation of this residential building, located in the heart of Madrid’s old town, on the historic border of the old Felipe II fence. This intervention includes the consolidation and structural reinforcement, the complete rehabilitation of premises, common areas and dwellings, as well as the restoration of the facade and roofs. The works on the wooden structure characteristic of the historical building systems of Madrid (replacement of right feet, joists, races and reinforcements of the forging), and the special casuistry of the execution of the works that are carried out without the eviction of the neighbors, stand out. By having our own multidisciplinary teams we have been able to adjust the planning to the casuistry of the work, the high quality of finishes required and the particular problems of the enclave. In addition to being a very busy street, the works are approached with the utmost care and minimization of inconveniences to the environment.
