Santa Cruz Museum, Toledo, Spain

The Hospital de Santa Cruz is a building of such monumentality that it is one of the most important examples of Renaissance civil architecture in Spain. It currently houses the cultural heritage of the city of Toledo. For this work, commissioned by the Consorcio de Toledo, the mural paintings on the facades of this monumental complex were restored, previously preconsolidating the base and then applying plaster and chromatic tones. The paintings that were hidden were recovered by means of fresco paintings and the doorway of the convent, crowned with a relief of Santiago dating from the 16th century, was restored, the lost granite volumes were consolidated, cleaned and recovered.
