Senate Palace, Madrid, Spain

The Senate Palace building, originally built in 1558, functioned as a school and convent before its current use was established in 1837. The work carried out consisted of the restoration of its north façade. In this intervention, all the surfaces were completely chipped, and the downspouts were uncovered and replaced. The recovery of the prefabricated pieces was carried out by means of molds made in our specialized workshops or by means of integral stitching of the pieces, depending on their condition. A traditional plaster was applied with different color samples until the original shade was achieved and the projections were protected with zinc.
