Supreme Court, Madrid, Spain

The former Royal Salesian Convent of the Visitation, part of whose complex now houses Spain’s Supreme Court, was established in 1749 at the behest of Queen Bárbara de Braganza to accommodate Visitation sisters in Spain and also to provide a school for noble girls. In 1870 the convent was repurposed as a courthouse. After cleaning the facades, our teams installed lighting for the main portals onto Plaza de la Villa de París and Calle Marqués de la Ensenada with LED floodlights and lighting rails, in another lighting project carried out by our heritage restoration division.
