Thyssen-Bornemizsa Museum, Madrid, Spain

Former palace of Pico della Mirándola and residence of the Dukes of Villahermosa, this 1805 building was restructured to house the Thyssen-Bornemisza art collection and later enlarged. This latest work involved restoring the facades and roofs and renovating their wealth of ornament, which involved the reconstruction of all their battlements and balustrades. Our workshop manufactured the necessary molds and facade elements, restoring ornaments, zinc coverings, eaves, joinery, metal fittings, and decorations. We also applied new renders and coatings, and finally erected the new roofs with glazed tiles made specially for the purpose.
