At KALAM we are looking to recruit, for our Logistics department in Rivas-Vaciamadrid (Madrid), two Warehouse Drivers.
With four decades of experience, KALAM is one of the most specialised and well-established companies in building rehabilitation and historic heritage restoration.
What will your mission be?
The selected candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to the company’s different work centres, carrying out tasks such as:
- Receiving, unloading and storing goods.
- Preparing and loading goods for dispatch.
- Organising and managing stock.
- Loading and unloading power tools, equipment, auxiliary resources and tubular scaffolding.
- Sorting scaffolding components.
- Checking power tools and small machinery: cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Controlling incoming and outgoing stock references.
- Controlling warehouse inventory.
- Monitoring the shelf life of construction materials.
- Occasionally carrying out deliveries.
- Using a forklift for loading and unloading tasks.
Required profile
- Experience receiving, checking and classifying goods, equipment and materials entering the warehouse by group, class and characteristics.
- Experience operating forklifts.
- Category B1 driving licence.
- Knowledge of construction materials.
- At least 2 years of experience in the duties described.
- Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO).
